AV-8B Sea Harrier jet hovers above the flight deck of HMS Illustrious as it positions itself for landing on June 25, 2001. The aircraft belonging to 801 Naval Air Squadron, NAS, Yeovilton, is providing air support to Brittish and U.S. units ashore during their participation in the Joint Maritime Course (JMC), the equivalent of the U.S. Navy's JTFEX with USS Enterprise Carrier Battle Group. THE FAN USED IN MAKING THIS TABLE IS FROM A ROLLS ROYCE PEGASUS SEA HARRIER FA2 JUMP JET AIRCRAFT.
